Hi Guys

Im ragging by brain here trying to work out how to do 'OR' Searches in filemaker. I need to build a search where I can specify to return records if fieldname1 = "xxxx" or "yyyy". How is this possible?

Is there anyway of using an SQL query string to search the db? This would be fantastic as I could build a pretty complex search very easily.

Hi, Ben, and welcome to FM Forums! If you're doing this manually, hit Ctrl-N for a new find request; if in a script, then the "New Record/Request" step will achieve the same effect.
