I hope someone can help- I am trying to set up a relationship that goes from a global field to a calculated field. This has worked for me in the past... for some reason it will not work. If I turn the calculated field into a text field, it works. When I return the field to calculated text, it breaks. the calculation is unstored.

Any thoughts?

An unstored calculation cannot be the right side of a relationship. If you had done this in a slightly different order (namely, make the field an unstored calc and THEN create the relationship) FM would have barked at you.

Ah- I lost my brain- the calculation included a field from a third related file- so it would not let me store the results (it barks that it cannot be changed to "stored"- I thought the message was referencing the new relation I was making (to the global field)---- thanks for your help.
