Xserve install

I'm a newbie to Xserve. I just purchased a single processor Xserve G5 to run my Server 7. Can someone post detailed instruction on how to install and launch Filemaker Server 7 on a Xserve. This will be an internal server only, no need for web access etc. I purchased Apple Remote Desktop 2 and cannot figure this out either. I'm feeling pretty dumb right about now. Thanks!

Do you have Apple Remote Desktop 2 working? I know, obvious question. But do you have Desktop installed so that you can see your server on your client machine?

If so, let me know, then I can help you get it all installed.

The installation procedure for FileMaker Server is described in Chapter 2 of the Server Admin Guide (I believe the admin guide is located on the installation CD, or you can download it from FileMaker.com). After you install it, launch and setup the FileMaker Server admin application (you can find this procedure in chapter 3 of the Server Admin Guide).
