How do enable the Layout mode???

I am using a program that was developed by FM Developer 6 and it uses the troi acivator plug in.

My question is how can i enable the layout mode so i can do some modifications to the program???

the layout mode is currently not available(it is grayed out)

any solutions are appreciated

Do you have the master password? Does the database have an about layout? It is posible that the design functions have been disabled. If so you will need to get a copy of the original file from the developer.

how would i know if the database has "an about layout"? where do i look for this??

There might be a script or might appear in the Help Menu in Windows. Using the master password, can you write scripts? Can you define fields?

If the answer to the above 2 questions is no the file has been modified so that its structure can not be changed.
