I am having forgotten password hell. I have several look up files that are being accesed from my main file. When I select the appropriate look up file it then asks for the user name and password. I set the priveledges a while back and I can not remember the what I used, how do I get around this problem,help!!!!

If these are FM7 files, you may be SOL.

You may be able to get around the password with one of these third party password setting tools.

I believe that if the file was created with 7v3, this tool won't work (unless the company has updated it) Also, FMI will not support any file that was modified by one of these tools, so the best thing to do might be to use the tool, get the data out of the file, and then trash the file and make a new one.
