emails using script can't be read by Outlook

Hi. I keep a fairly elementary database for a club I belong to. I regularly send out emails using a Filemaker script. The mail is generally sent to all records in a set. I use Filemaker 6, OS X, and OS X's mail client. The problem I have is that Outlook users frequently don't get the text of the mail. They get, instead, a blank email. If I put our logo at the top of the email, they'll sometimes get that and not the text. It's never been a problem for anyone not using Outlook, and doesn't seem to be a problem for everyone using Outlook...only some of them. Anybody have any idea what's happening here (either on my end, or on the recipient's end) and what I can do to fix it? I haven't yet tried using a different mail program, but that's next. I appreciate your help. Thanks.

I ran into similar problems with Apple Mail, AppleScript and FM. My solution worked OK for a few mails at once, but sending out a few hundred with 4MB of attachments on each mail, it failed. It seemed that Mail could not get the mails out the door quick enough before AppleScript created new ones using data from the FM database.

I bought SMTPIt plug-in from CNS and have been using it for quite a while and works fine. It requires some scripting knowledge and familiarity with setting up an internet mail account. Recommended.
