TCP/IP in Server 5 (Classic on OSX Panther 10.3.5)

Featured Replies

Does anyone know why TCP/IP should not work when using Server 5 in Classic on OSX Panther 10.3.5?

In the FM Server Admin window (Networking) TCP/IP is greyed out and inaccessible (as is TCP/IP / Appletalk) so Appletalk is the only option.

All clues gratefully received.

I'm having a similar issue with FMP Server 3.0 running under classic. Users on the local network can only connect via AppleTalk, not TCP/IP.

I'd like to be able to offer connections via TCP/IP to a remote user (outside the local network). I've port-forwarded port 5003 (both UDP and TCP), but I get no response when attempting to connect to the server.

Any tips?
