Jim Strickland Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I just upgraded my FM7 Server to version 7.02. The upgrade appeared to proceed properly without a hitch. However, When I launch the FileMaker Server Admin problems start occuring. One of two things happen. Either I will select the available server and receive the message "login failed" or, sometimes when I try to select an available server I get the following error. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program C:WINNTsystem32mmc.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. I am running FMS7 on a Windows 2000 Server with dual 2GHz Pentium Xeon Processors and 512MB RAM. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? If so, did you find a fix? I have not been able to find anything in the Filemaker knowledgebase.
Newbies sanman Posted November 29, 2004 Newbies Posted November 29, 2004 I had the same problem. The only way I could fix it was to re install server. The only problem is now I have the problem again (after a few weeks) so looks like I will need to re install again unless someone has a fix?
