Page numbers in the footer are correct when viewed in Previow mode, but print incorrectly. The print dialogue box "Number pages from" has 197 in the box. When I try to change this number to 1, the file prints out beginning with 197 no matter what number I enter in the box. I know there is (or used to be) a document concerning this problem in the Techinfo, but I can't find it any more. I think the Techinfo document concerned a workaround that worked with FM Pro 6, but it also worked for me using 5.5.

I am using FM Pro 5.5 ver. 2 and Mac OS X 10.3.5

I didn't see a resolution to this, and it just happened to me so I thought I'd post it here in case it happens to somebody else. The cure is to highlight the number in the "number pages from" box in the print dialog; it's not just enough to change it!
