I successfully converted all my FM files from v.6 to v7 some time ago. Only 2 of them had password protection. Both were simple, flat databases. Now, when I need to use one of them, I can't open it - with the message that the password is incorrect. The other still opens fine and works well. It used the same password!

Anyone have any ideas on what's going on - or better yet, how to open my file?

Passwords are case sensitive in FM7, but were not in previous versions. So you may have had a password "password" in one file and "Password" in another. They would both work fine with any variation caps and lowercase in FM5/6, but not in FM7.

Take a look at your pre-conversion files to see the caps case of the passwords in those problem files.
