I have a simple problem!!!

I have a 4 field database (complex...ha!)

student_id

student_name

activity

activity group

All I want to do...when I get to any student record is to insert a new record with student_id and student_name.

I set up a script

New Record/Request

Go to Record/Request/Page [Previous]

Insert from last record(select,"student_id")

Insert from last record(select,"student_name")

But when I run it it gives a new record and then deletes the student_id from the record its copying...with no student_name.

I've tried different commands within each step but I can't fix it.

Can someone help please
