Adding Record via Custom Web Publishing - TEXT

Here's the deal:

Environment:

100% Custom Web publishing - Web Browser at the user, and Filemaker 7 Advanced at the server.

The Web Server = Filemaker Pro 7 Server

Users need to be able to add a record to a table, which simply does some quick calculations and outputs the results to a TEXT file on the Web Server/Filemaker 7 Server host with a name calculated from the user's submission. The record add and calculations are done, I simply can't figure out the rest. After the users add a record, the reply page provides a path to open the file (basically), so I need Filemaker in complete control of the process to ensure the file is ready, named per the calculations, etc. Any help would be genuinely appreciated.

This was a 10 minute project with filemaker 6 unlimited, and the Troi file plug-in. Troi already has a bug report into Filemaker regarding why their new 7 plug-in doesn't work.
