Deleting Container Field

I am trying to delete a container field; however, it is not doing anything.

I have already removed the field from the layout and when I try to delete the Container field from the list of defined fields, nothing happens. I don't get a confirmation, warning, can't perform operation, you don't have rights...NOTHING.

I am not sure in this DB was created in FM 5.0 on a PC, and I am currently working in FM 5.0 Unlimited on a NT Server.

Can anyone help?

I've seen a similar situation before, although not specifically on a container field. I don't know what the cause was, but quitting FMP and restarting solved it.
