I had to make barcodes for articles like:

20314sfsf4

20202020

ab1458-c

etc etc

I used the free 3 of 9 like everybody here told me.

If there were characters in the barcode i had to use the extended version.

I tried and tried and failed and failed.

So i just give the advice why i finally found what the problem was:

1. add a "*" in front and at the end of every barcode.

2. You have to configure your barcode scanner (belgian keyboard etc, caps lock on, enable EAN39, enable ascii. from then on i could read all the barcodes!
