I'm in the process of making a runtime database and need an icon for it, i have a logo and have been trying to make the first letter into an icon. I've tried 2 different pieces of software and i cant make the border transparent in either. please find attached the icon, i need the white surround making transparent. If anyone has the know-how.

Also the same with a green border incase the white in the logo creates a problem.

Hi, Convert/Export your icon picture to a GIF format and use a function called Trim, many graphics editors features such function.
