I've tried to delete severel files from the hosts (server).

But they do not dissappear! Every time i delete them, they come back...

Anyone know the 'best' process for deleting files from the hosts?

Stop the FM service and delete the files. If your configuration is correct, you will not be able to delete the files while the service is running. If the files com back after deletion, i would have to guess there is something going on that has nothing to do with Filemaker.

Oh, forgot to mention... if you are viewing these files on another volume, you are again not configured correctly. File-sharing should be turned off for all directories that contain Filemaker files. Deletion should only be possible from the server itself.
