GerryGerry Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Hi, Not long ago, rlbryant posted a question that was left unanswered... I have the same concern... Basically, I would like to get rid of the horizontal scroll bar in FileMaker Pro and also in IWP. Is there a way to set the width of the "body" part? Thanks, -GerryGerry
GerryGerry Posted December 21, 2004 Author Posted December 21, 2004 Hi, Small correction and more info: I was talking about the horizontal scroll bar in Layout mode. Which for some reason is visible, even if the objects in the current layout could be view without scrolling. I know one can set the Body Part size with the "size" palette, but for some reason the width can't be modified (it is always 612px). By the way, when publishing with IWP, this translates to: <div style="position: absolute;top: 0px;left: 0px;width: 2000px;height: $$$px;"> Where $$$ is the actual height of the body. As you can see, there are 2000 pixels that are set as a "canvas" width to draw all other objects in, eventhough it is not necesary. Who decided on 2000 pixels? Maybe this should be posted in the IWP section instead? I thought maybe it could be fixed with a layout trick of some kind. I hope somebody knows how to fix this... Thanks, -GerryGerry.
GerryGerry Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Hi, I found a solution. It has nothing to do with the layout, so I posted it in the Instant Web Publishing [iWP] forum. -GerryGerry.
