Report Tutorial anywhere?

Hi,

Is there any tutorials or good samples that cover some Reporting scenarios - ideally annotated anywhere?

I'm interested in the following types of reports

- Printing a list of records from a table. For example, my customer list.

- Printing a report which shows each of my customers and underneath that shows the jobs I have done for him/her.

- doing the above, but filtering based on some criteria I entered.

i did look at Tasks sample, but nowhere does it say "Why" you have to do a join with "One"... in other words, I guess i haven't gotten the big 'ah-ha' yet.
