Hey all,

Ok, I'm a newbie to Filemaker and am having an issue with a project at work. Here's the situation - I created a sweet address database. However, information in one of the fields only appears in Find or Browse Modes (not in Preview or printed copies).

Does anyone have advice regarding this issue? I realize it's a stupid question, but I'm really stuck in trying to figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Larry, is it the same layout? And are you using simple fields or portal fields??

Oops, sorry 'bout leaving that bit out. I'm using regular fields.

Maybe you inadvertently set it not to print in the Sliding/Printing setting (In the Format Menu)

Ok, I checked the sliding/printing bit in the layout mode - nothing out of the ordinary. However, I'm still running into the same problem.

Eureka! I figured it out - two of the fields were crossing borders, therefore, not appearing in the Preview mode. Huzzah. Problem solved and the project is almost finished. Thanks for all of your help!
