I just signed up in this forum, formerly working with EXCEL I'm new to FM and have following question:

how can I define the sequence/order of fields? I have created several fields in my layout which basically looks like two colums. When I use the TAB key I'd first like the curser jump all the fields down in the left column (lets call it column A) and then all fields in the right column (let's call it :.

What it does right now is I'm in field #1 column A, then pressing TAB it jumps to #1 column B, then #2 column A etc etc.

How can I make it first go all the way down A and then B??

Layout Mode, Layout Menu, Tab Order. Then default is as you say, back and forth. So say New Tab Order and just click field1, field2, etc..

A cute trick in this case is to select all of column B, group them (Arrange, Group), drag them down to BELOW column B. Then say Tab Order, Revert to Default. Then move column B back.
