Error - do script step firing from 1 db to another

Featured Replies

Used to be you could run an applescript within 1 file omitting the application name-

tell database "AnotherDatabaseBesidesThisOne.fp6"

do script "MySubscript"

end

And it would magically work:

Try as I might - 7 just gives me object not found errors no matter what I do. I've added the application name, gottent it to close and open files to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Tim

I'm not sure, but the really correct syntax is:

do script FileMaker script "MySubscript"

FileMaker is just more fussy.

you know - I'm beginning to think I've got some corrupted files-

my applescript implementations are snappier on other machines here
