FMP Unlimited 5.5 and sending mail

Hi,

I am using FMP Pro 5.5 Unlimited on a Mac running OS 9.2. We are trying to send e-mail via FileMaker, using Eudora 5.1. The problem is that the mail we are creating with the "sendMail" command, stay in the outbox and are not sent automaticaly.

Is it a known problem, can it be fixed by using another mailer like Outlook or something else?

Howdy! I hope you've resolved this by now, but if not...

We use FM to auto-generate custom confirmation e-mail messages w/Eudora and we leave the messages up on screen and manually verify them before pressing the SEND or QUEUE button for each one individually. This is normal and I do not thinking switching e-mail applications will work for you. If you want the messages sent out immediately, I think you can use something like AppleScript to automatically press the SEND for you OR you can look at FileMaker 3rd party mail plug-ins. I think folks who do a lot of e-mail w/FM use plug-ins and there are some good recommendations somewhere in the forum posts.
