Single user on network get corrupt file message?

Featured Replies

We have a Filemaker solution witha bout 10 files being served by FM Server to about 5 people. One of the users is constantly getting the Damaged File dialog upon opening the network files. The files are obviously not damaged, because everyone else in the ofice is working on them simultaneously. I can't see to find any wrong with this particular users setup / application.

Any ideas why one person would get this message?

Check to see if there are any loose copies of your databases lying around on shared volumes, or if the user in question has some databases locally on his machine. Also, really make sure that this user is opening the files via open remote.
