auto checking a check box

Featured Replies

Basically this is what I'm trying to do. I have a text box thats set up as a check box titled keywords that shows items from a value list. I have 5 other fields. Titled category1, category2, category3, category4, category5. What I need is, when an word is typed into one of the category fields, if that word is in the keywords checkbox I need it to automatically checkmark that word in keywords.

Any ideas?

Any help given is much appreciated.

This is a weird question because if you pilcrow delimit each of the five field into the calc'field that holds the checkboxes will only the matching show up visible eventhoug the more daft choices will be in the field without the format as checkbox field. But in order to get rid of the stuff not matching do I think this suggestion is a decent bet - check the upload!

It's tough to just guess why this question is raised, but a use of it might be ...if the values in the checkbox should be set to a global value directing a portal after the pilcrows have been turned into a pipe | sign to make an and-portal key ...but it isn't something particular usefull with the same things availiable in the relations def...:?
