January 20, 200521 yr I am trying to use checkboxes, and they aren't showing anymore. I have about 30 layouts using them, and they are all fine. Now on new layouts I try to use them and the values come up, but now actual boxes. They appear if you left click on them, but cannot be selected and disappear when the cursor moves. How can this be, and how can I make it right again? Thanks for any help!
January 20, 200521 yr Author Thanks, but it is already black and I tried anyway, but that didn't work.
January 20, 200521 yr Author nope that isn't it either. Thanks though! I don't think I changed anything between the layouts (I wouldn't know how to anyway) this is such a mystery to me.
January 20, 200521 yr Candice: First, your file has to be compressed as a .zip file or as a stuffit archive. Second, click "reply" (not "quick reply"), and at the bottom of the resulting window, after you've written your post, make sure that the "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file" checkbox is checked. By default, it already should be. Then you get to where you can review your post. Click "choose file", pick your file, then click "OK, Submit" and you're done. -Stanley
January 20, 200521 yr Candice: In your layout "capstone", for example, you've got radio buttons that do not appear. The problem is that the color is set to white and the line thickness is set to None. In the Format-->Field Borders dialog, set the color to black, and set the line thickness to one point, and your radio buttons will appear. -Stanley
January 20, 200521 yr Author The problem is with the last pages. That is where the checkboxes are not showing.
January 20, 200521 yr One point to keep in mind: If you select the field (checkboxes or radio buttons) in question, and then set borders, thicknesses, etc., those changes will be applied to the selected field(s). If, on the other hand, no fields are selected, the settings you choose will become the defaults for any newly-added fields and will not apply to any fields already on the layout.
