I don't suppose there is a server-side solution that allows for the running of scripts at scheduled times? I'd rather not have to install something on every single desktop to achieve this.

Depending on what kind of scripts you want to run, you wouldn't need to install the script scheduler plugin on each client, just install it on one client and you'll be able to have the script run.

If you want to actually be able to trigger scripts to run on a given machine remotely, you'll need something like Troi Activator, which does require installation on every machine where it will be used.
