Cannot connect to a Filemaker Server host

When I attempt to connect to a Filemaker server host from FMS Admin Tool, I get "login failed" What login and how do I change it? There does not seem to be any functions available in the tool at this point other than to Connect. I am running Win 2K Server and have FMSA Updater 2 installed. This is a really frustrating problem.

You must run first Filemaker Server. Because Filemaker Server is set to run manually Then you can connect. Please open Filemaker Server Console, and on the left menu you must click "Services (Local)" and ar the rigt menu you must find filemaker server and run it. If you use filemaker server advanced, you must run it manually.
