Records from multiple tables in the same layout?

So...I have split up my records in one databse into 2 tables.

I am using another database to reference these records by looking

through a portal. Is there a way to see both tables on the same

layout? You must specify the portal to one or the other table, so

besides adding another portal, what to do? Any help is appreciated.

How about creating a relationship between the two tables. Is the data in the two tables related in any way? If so you can directly reference info from one table in another.

If the data isn't related, then putting records from each table into one portal doesn't really make any sense.
