HI,

I have experienced problems using FileMakers Send Mail command. If the mail app is set up to send messages with a default signature, FMP ignores the setting and creates new messages with no signature.

I'm using FMP 5.5v2 on a Mac but have tested on 7 and windows with the same issue.

Is there any way to preserve the default signature of the mail app?

Hi, C! I'm not sure since I'm not the primary user, but I don't think we have that issue with Eudora. At first I thought you were using "Mail" but since you said it happens on Windows, too, I'm not sure which client you are using.

FM has a list of officially supported e-mail clients and if you're using a client not on the list, you may get unpredictible results if it works at all. I posted the link to the list for someone once but I have since lost track.

I'm having the same problem with the Mac application Mail. I use Send Mail and the signature is missing from the newly generated email.

Any solutions?
