I have a field formatted to display checkbox's [about 25 values contained in a value list]and each time I create a new record in my table I want this field to automatically select a pre-determined set of these values.

Once the record is created, the user can then decide to select more options and/or de-select some of the pre-determined options.

Does anyone know of an easy way to accomplish this.

Use auto enter data. In the box type the values you want checked hitting the return key between values.
