rivet Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 My client has moved all thier machines to osx in the office. fmp6.0 clients fmp5.5 server I had an old script to duplicate a record and its related items via an export/import. It was a temp file that ended up in the programs root folder. But now with osX it does not seem to happen. anyone
stanley Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Rivet: The heirarchy in OSX is different from OS9 and earlier, so the script has what will now appear to be garbage in it, so far as where to put the file, or where the file is located. Open the script(s) and click on "specify file" in each import and export step, and re-specify where it should go. -Stanley
keydash Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I am using FMServer 7 and have the same problem. The script step works correctly in stand alone, but breaks when used on the server. The Export file cannot be created in the specified folder. As a test, I set a script with a single step "Export Records". Still cannot create the Export file when running on the FMServer. I am open to suggestions. Al
