I'm completely new to FMP. I'm creating a DB for my company's mailing list. I have a fields for "First Name" and "Last Name" but I also have a "Full Name" field that I would like to automatically enter the data from the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields. Just cuts down on data entry.

Can this be done? How?

Create a field, set it to calculation, and define the calculation as:

FirstName & " " & LastName

where FirstName and LastName are the actual field names of your respective fields.
