Cannot share a database. I have only FileMaker 7 installed on the host computer. The only thing that I see strange is that Volume C is shared. Could this be the problem. I get the following error: "FileMaker cannot share files because another user is already sharing files using FileMaker Pro on this computer".

I tried restarting FileMaker but did not work.

Help please...

It sounds like someone else on your network has already opened the files. Get everyone on your network to quit FileMaker, then make sure the volume where the FileMaker files resides is not shared. Now launch again, and you should be able to share the files. Make sure other users are accessing via Open Remote...
