Newbies ssi Posted February 23, 2005 Newbies Share Posted February 23, 2005 I have tried to uses the Troi Serial Plugin v2.5 with FileMaker 7 on Windows XP & 2000. With a dispatch script by name FM crashes when data is received. By key does not seem to work at all. The debug option will beep when data is received. The email I received from Troi said both should work but not to use the alternative method. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PeterHW Posted February 24, 2005 Share Posted February 24, 2005 Hi, I've experienced the same but if you use External("Serial-SetSetting";"-AlternativeScriptTriggerOff") it works fine.
