Please I need help urgently. I installed FM Server & FM Advanced and configure publishing engine with no problem, suddenly when i want to enter the administration console i am stuck with this "An unexpected error has occurred." if i click on restart publishing engine. I have restarted both web server and console several times in the terminal, i updated FMS to 7.2 and restarted the computer but invain.

I am on Mac OS X 10.3.7

I have the same problem on a Win 2003 Server.

Uninstall, reinstall, resetup the Admin Console but still it's not working.

In IIS, Directory Security is set to Basic.

Problem solved, it was a bad setting in my web services (Server Admin). My computer has two IP addresses and the website was set to only one IP. When I chose the option 'Any' IP i was able to connect to the Admin console.

I also noticed that deleting the browser cookie created by Web Publishing Administration Console clears up a number of problems. I think it's called 'JSESSIONID'.
