I have written a script which compares an entry into my field "Last Name" with the rest of all records in order to find customers with the same last name. Is there a possibility to let this script run after I press the TAB key to jump from "Last Name" to the next field? I've tried with specify button/perform script but this is not quite what I want because of course it only performs the script when I click onto the field.

You'll need a third-party "event" plugin to trigger a script for FMP 6 and earlier. There is a free event plugin available for FMP 7.

Vaughn - Where can one get this free event plugin?
