For what it's worth, MYOB's Account Edge whoops Quickbooks in a mixed platform environment. MYOB's Account Edge is fully cross-platform with current versions on both. Quickbooks PC version is wayyyy ahead of their Mac version and, if you've got users on both platforms, MYOB is a great choice.

It is also Applescriptable and, I believe, scriptable on the PC side via visual basic. I've got a customer with a massive 65-file (FMPro v6) sales/purchasing/CRM solution that has been running flawlessly with an integrated FMPro - MYOB integration.

If you've got customer's who think there is no other good option for small to medium business, check it out.
