March 10, 200520 yr In fm 7. I have on one layout with fields to edit records as well as a portal showing related records, and this is in a single table. When I select a related record from the portal, the record comes up to edit. But I don't want the portal to jump back to the top. So if I select record 20 from the portal I want the portal to stay on record 20. I thought by turning in layout mode, "show field frames when record is active" off would do the trick but it don't seem to. Any ideas? Thanks, Doug
