Newbies damoca Posted March 10, 2005 Newbies Posted March 10, 2005 Hello. I'm new here and with FM. I have a problem with it and I can't solve it. help please! I have a FM7 database with information such as people names and surnames. When you look up for a name, for example, it shows the information of that person and many other information from other FM files. Now, the identification of a person must be done through a central database wich contains the people information centralized. So I've decided to do this. First I construct the query with a kind of "look up interface", connect with that database using ODBC, I import the remaining user information (address...) and now... what? With this new information I must get the remaining information from the other FM files but since I have imported new info the data of my local database is not valid anymore. Any suggestion?? I'm completely lost with this.
