March 11, 200520 yr Author I've searched Filemaker Help and can't seem to find anywhere to set "hyphenation" on. I'm typing in an invoice description (for types of services rendered) field and when getting to the end of the text box, it's not hyphenating the words, forcing me to manually enter a "return" to type on the next line. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

March 11, 200520 yr There is no built-in hyphenation feature in FileMaker Pro. But line-wrapping should be working automatically.

March 12, 200520 yr Author Thanks. Where do I check to see if "line Wrapping" is on, because as I mentioned my words are being broken when I get to the limit of the text field.

March 13, 200520 yr Line wrapping is always on. Just keep typing. The lines will wrap when you get to the end. If they are breaking in the middle of the word, it may be that you have the line-breaking options set incorrectly. You can find this in the File menu under File options. Under the text tab, you will find options to use Asian or Roman line-breaking, or both. Asian line-breaking will break on any character, so you may have to deselect it.

March 14, 200520 yr Author When I went to file options, text tab, I discovered neither Asian nor Roman were checked; the problem was corrected after I checked Roman. Thanks for the help!
