Can anyone help me get my Newbie head around this...

On a job sheet I need to detail individual product items - some jobs have many different products used so I don't want to limit myself with repeating fields - each product has a unit cost and some have a specific tax rate which I would like to have attached to that product, maybe I should give up for today and start again tomorrow but I just can't figure out how to go about it.

any ideas would be great

thanks

Try to study this template, where sets in your case could be job types:

http://www.dwdataconcepts.com/dl/tm/Compile_INV2.sit

(please note the format is 5.0 so, the proper way to implement is either by FMRobot or recreation from scratch ...but for getting the idea just convert)

But as I remember the template isn't the storage levels take in consideration, which must be made with itemlines as join records in between Invoice and stock in a straight forward many2many...
