I am trying to combine tables in two different files. I think I am following instructions but so far I cannot import into the new table in the target file.

I open the target file, select the layout for the second table, and then following the instructions in the manual:

Is the file you are trying to import from already open when you get to step 5? If so, close the file and make sure the table you want to import into has the focus.

I quit from FM and then restarted it. I retried the process but I still got the incorrect target name, when I tried to do the import. HOWEVER, when I look at the table, there is data in it ... so somewhere along the line the import happened. But why am I still getting this error about not being able to import into the same table?
