Hi there,

I'm trying for days now on this one.... crazy.gif

I have different tables defined in my db and what I want to do ist simply display the value of a statistic field on the layout of another table. All I always get ist an empty field. Relations are properly defined and everthing ist working just fine. I just can't get data displayed from one table on the layout of another... any suggstions ?

Dirk:

If you're not seeing any data, there are a number of possibilities:

1. There is no related data. Check to see that there is valid data to display.

2. You are displaying the wrong fields. Ensure that you are indeed showing the related fields.

3. The relationships are not validated. Ensure that key fields are populated correctly.

4. The relationships are not valid. Ensure that your definitions are correct, and that number fields match with number fields, text with text, etc.

If you're quite sure everything matches in 3 and 4, put in a portal and see if you get any rows coming up - if there are rows there, then you've got a relationship and matches, and you're just not seeing data. In which case, check points 1 and 2 above.
