Hello,

I have a 1-M / Master-Detail layout. In the header i put my main table (Invoices) and then in the body I put the invoiceLineItems table. Invoices has a 1-M relationship with InvoiceLineItems table.

is there a way to print the header only on the first page and then on subsequent pages only print the body?

sorry if this is a faq.

thanks

To get the header to print on the first page but not on the other pages, I think it has to be at title header.

If it's a print layout just change the header to a title header, otherwise I think you have to create a print layout.

But I may be corrected in a few minutes......

Hi Dave,

Thanks! I actually figured it out (i know RTFM) ... and scrambled to get back and post that i figured it out and not make any one go to the trouble.... oh well too late.

Yep, Title Header. One thing though is that if you have a header set up (which I do), then on the first page, the header will not print... interesting. I just copied the fields up into title header and it looks good.

thanks.

Say you wouldn't happen to know how to make a field expand in a report.. Say you have a text field, which a user entered many many lines in. When you print the report you want to see all those lines, How can it automatically expand?

thanks again for the help,

sincerely,
