I'm using both Custom and Instant Web Publishing with FM Server 7 Advanced on Panther. I have IWP set up to require a user name and password to access the database. My question: when I submit a user name and password via my browser, are those items encrypted during transmission to the Web server (Apache), or are they sent as clear text? Thanks.
