I have 3 csv files that I want to load into an FMP7 database. Each csv file has row 1 equal to field names. I need to be able to load these and create the respective tables within the database. I haven't seen a method by which to do this without first creating the tables/fields.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Sorry, that does not work. It continually tries to add to the current table - which at the point in time csv #2 is being loaded there is not Table 2 to load into.

Need to load, without first creating the table structure manually, each csv file and have it create the structure for a new table with each independent load based on row 1 of the csv then load the data from rows 2..n.

Any one else?

Sorry, I made the mistake of assuming since you could import the fields for the first table you would have the option to add more tables to an already existing database in the same manner.... Short on features big on plug-ins.

I know I have seen this issue discussed before but tried a quick search and came up empty handed. Hopefully someone will come along and tell you a way to get this done. I prefer seperate files but that may not be for everyone.
