Newbies ed_olimpio Posted March 21, 2005 Newbies Share Posted March 21, 2005 I am running Mac OS X Server with FM Server 7 advanced. I am running FM pro on my client machines, which are Win XP. i have done everything by the book and I can connect from my Dell COmputer to the server and open the Database. BUt when I try to make any modications (layouts,screens, etc...) it says "THIS DATABASE IS NOT MODIFIABLE". On my computer I can modify everything with the same database. When I open if on the server it says I can't modify this database. I can even type in fields it is so bad. Please help - thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or is there some master command you are speaking of that covers all databases within filemaker server 7. I assume you mean I have to make these changes from within CLIENT 7.0, not server 7.0.
