I'm new to FM Developer and trying to understand a few things. My understanding is that the developer utilities allow you to make a "single" file that will run stand alone. When I process my database I am left with two files and a folder named "extensions". Is this normal? Is there a way to condense everything down so that it will run with a single file?

It is normal. That's what you should have. I dont think there is anyway to compress them into one. But you should also have a "main" file that you specified in developer utilities.

Question for you, why do u need one file?
