I have one table of EMPLOYEES... I have a script which shows a subset of the employees on a report.

I would now like to also show Prospective Employees on that report.

Could someone suggest a way that I can display a subset of the employees, plus allow for a way to show additional people on the report: Prospective Employees I'm thinking these Prospective Employees will live in another table and get created and deleted when need be.

I am hoping to be able to have the report view as a table. Is something like this simple to achieve ?

I was thinking that I could have a 3rd table in the middle, and then have some sort of "OR" relationship that would lookup info either from the Employees table or the Prospective Employees table.. but it doesn't seem that I can have an OR relationship that would pull either from the left or the right of the middle table.. am I making any sense ?? :-)

thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Put your Prospective Employees in the same table as your Employees. Run your report from there. By using a simple field to distinguish between Prospective Employees, Active Employees, and Past Employees, your report will be easy to do with sub-summary parts. It will also be easier to change a Prospective Employee to an Active Employee to a Past Employee. No record shuffling required, you just need to change a field or two.
