I've created a new field that has an autoenter lookup. That's great for all the new records, but how do I get Filemaker to go back and run auto-enter again on all the previous ones? Thanks.

Use relookup. Find the records that need to be update then do the relookup. You need to be in the key fiield field when you issue this command.

Already tried that. It just tells me that no records are based on the field. I think the problem with that is the look-up is in auto-enter.
